Rynoman 0 Posted July 28, 2008 Is there any hope? Let me know whether I should step away from the cliff or go ahead and plan for next season PPR with 6 pts TD for passing, rushing, and receiving QB: McNabb, Cutler RB: Portis, Edge, JJones, TJones, Lendale White, Kevin Smith WR: Lee Evans, Plaxico, DBowe, Santana Moss, Roddy White TE: Winslow
WhiteWonder 2,248 Posted July 28, 2008 how many teams? your team isnt that bad its just that after Portis there are really no "headline" players but for the most part solid. If McNabb stays healthy you should be in good shape. I like Thomas Jones alot.
Rynoman 0 Posted July 28, 2008 It's a 10 team. It's like I drafted in a snake and had all my picks in the 8th and 9th round Just offered to me: Thomas Jones and Lee Evans for Anquan Boldin and Ronnie Brown
WhiteWonder 2,248 Posted July 28, 2008 you get boldin and brown? id say do it tho it hinges on Browns health.
Rynoman 0 Posted July 29, 2008 What do y'all think of: I get Maroney and Boldin for I give up: TJones and Burress
Ray_T 608 Posted July 29, 2008 I'd rather have the Ronnie Brown deal than the Maroney deal. in terms of the offers, Boldin may not have the upside of a Burris, but I think he is more of a steady consistant player from year to year. Brown has injury issues, but T Jones had the same issue a couple of years back, and now that he is getting older, those issues could easily resurface. I think the trade is fairly even, but I'd make the deal because I like what Brown can do. Maroney is a good talent, but also has injury issues. and NE has too many weapons so he wont get red zone carries like your average RB. That's my opinion (for whatever that is worth)
