I think your league needs:

 

1. A different commish! - You will look like even more of a douche if you re-post the trade.

 

2. Assuming the league votes to get a different commish, they should also change the rules to allow commissioner veto rather than vote. However, if I were in your league, knowing how you are re-acting here, I WOULD NOT change the veto vote rule as long as you are the league commissioner. (And I obviously would try to replace you as commish.)

They VETOED to be assh*les. plain and simple. All I am asking is it wrong of me to over rule there decision based on this being a fair trade

 

 

They vetoed it because steve smith is a stud, greg olsen=owen daniels, dominic rhodes is a backup, and Matt jones is going to get suspended for sniffin coke. Stupid trade by the guy who offerred it to you and stupid question... Thank God I got rid of the voting process in my league years ago, who needs this kind of drama? Dumbest thing ever in FF. You either have it or you don't, you have it! deal with it commish. Is it fair for them to veto it? No, Is it fair for you to not obide by your own rules, NO. Never, Ever, let people that have nothing to do with a trade, and rival teams have a say on anybody's trade, it's not like the NFL takes votes on trades, cause THAT WOULD BE STUPID! I totally understand your position, been there done that, you're gonna have to suck it up and deal with it, if you still want to play with the same guys, however if it's a public league, do what you want, but it's still not legit. Lets say you over ride it and it goes through, and you win the super bowl, do you really believe the rest of the league will even respect that you won? No, if you go by your own rules you set and you win it all, that's great, and you can honestly rub everybodies face in it, and isn't that what we all really want? Don't let anybody ever have a reason to question your win, you'll never, ever live it down. Just my 2 cents.
