Need help with a keeper league

Alright, I'm having a difficult time deciding which three guys I should keep. One kept player - lose first round pick. Two kept players, lose first and second pick. Three kept players, lose first, second and third round picks.

 

10 teams, standard scoring - QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR

 

My options:

 

Drew Brees

Frank Gore

Chris Johnson

Michael Turner

Andre Johnson

 

I'm leaning towards Turner, CJ and Andre Johnson. Any thoughts are appreciated.

All depends on the scoring format and how many teams and how many at each position you start.

I am biased, because i dislike turner. I would keep Johnson, Johnson, and Brees.

4 pts/passing td, 1 pt/25 yds passing, 6 pts/rushing td, 1 pt/10 yds rushing, 6 pts/receiving td, 1 pt/10 receiving yds

Since only 4pts/pass TDs and 1pt/25 pass yds I would prob let Brees go. Since there is no ppr I would prob not keep CJ. Eventhough AJ is a WR and no ppr he is still a top 3 WR you must keep him. Then I would keep Turner and Gore. They both enter the season as top 7 RBs.

 

The big reason to keep these guys is they prob have huge trade value for you post draft. This gives you a lot of freedom in rounds 4-6 to grab a top QB and a couple of WRs or back up RBs.

I'd go with your 1st instincts here - AJ, Chris Johnson, and Turner. They all will be 1st or 2nd rounders for sure in any re-draft league.

Then I would keep Andre Johnson and Chris Johnson with Brees a close 4th.
