bigfans13 0 Posted August 20, 2009 My league does it a little different. We pick names out of a hat - and the first name drawn gets their choice of draft position (and so on). The last name drawn doesn't necessarily get the last pick, just the last one available. Pretty interesting format - a little twist in strategy too.

But don't you have to do it like 10 minutes before the draft? Which is fine, however an online generator can be done a week or two before the draft so the league members can rack their brains for weeks and do mocks at that position and talk smack before the season starts. By giving everyone their draft spot so far ahead of time it helps to speed up the draft, especially the early rounds. It also encourages people to trade picks.
