btbpitt71 1 Posted August 26, 2009 I think this will be a good pickup for my flex spot or a bye week fill in. Agree or disagree?
We Tigers 71 Posted August 26, 2009 Sure, I guess. Who are you dropping? Duckett was released and Julius Jones has never had much of a nose for the goal line, so you can probably expect a decent amount of red zone work. I'd be surprised if he got less than 120-150 carries. I think Edge has fairly limited upside for a steady flex play, but he could be an effective spot start. He still had something left in the playoffs and Seattle isn't exactly littered with Pro Bowl runners.
Red Hawk 0 Posted August 26, 2009 Depends on how many teams in your league. For a 10 or 12 team league I think you can do better. When he plays I assume it will be RBBC w/ J. Jones. I am also very concerned about LT Walter Jones being out for a while and being in football shape when he does come back. Let someone else pull the trigger on this one. joeunleaded 0 Posted August 26, 2009 Agree with Red Hawk - since Edge left IND, he's been a non factor. Don't see that changing in SEA, and I see some sort of RBBC there with JJ. I wouldn't bother, and would look elsewhere since its a FLEX spot. Mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=348076
Effington 0 Posted August 26, 2009 Seattle is not strong and Edge isn't the same as he used to be. Considering he was on a team that had a ridiculously dangerous passing game and still couldn't get a decent average, I don't see him having any better success in Seattle.
