ToledoLurch 0 Posted September 3, 2009 Hello fellas!!! We have another year upon us, and I am excited. I live about 10 minutes from Bowling Green and can confirm what Philly says and that they will be crappy this year. They are really going to miss their former coach. This game is my play of the week. Troy -7 for 3 units It also appears that the line is moving up. I had to buy a .5 point to get it down to 7. Good luck all!!! Adding Utah... Thursday card Utah -20.5 for 1 unit Troy -7 for 3 units

Yer mom 2 Posted September 4, 2009 Gentlemen, Son of a...im looking at all the angles in this game and I cant really justify anything that persuades me one way or the other based on the numbers. Too much on the line for the beloved total, and its the first game of the season so I dont know how loose they'll come out. Second half play is probably the no brainer but as a complete degenerate with the wagering syringe plunged into my vein, im playing the game for shiits and giggs. Blue turf, and BCS busting is on the line tonight for the home team. This is Boises most important game in forever. Boise State Broncos -3 (small play) Good luck!! Hurricane Ditka 0 Posted September 4, 2009 Wow. Did someone actually think I wouldn't be here? I had to wait as some of the lines really moved. 0-0 Give me Boise State at home and I got it at -2.5,,,,,, What a line mover for game #1. Anytime I can get Boise State at home for 2.5 I will take it no matter who they play. However, I am also going to bet there is some rust in this game and go UNDER 65. I like Boise to play more West Coast and less trickory with Kellen Moore. I think he is perfect underneath. And his hometown "Prosser" is 20 miles from my house. So: Boise State -2.5 (5 units) Under 65 (3 units) LETS MAKE SOME FOCKING MONEY!
phillybear 365 Posted September 4, 2009 Adding Boise St (-2.5)@-115 for 2 units.
phillybear 365 Posted September 4, 2009 Gotta love Troy. Up 14-0, and never score again. Against a team with 8 new defensive starters and a new defensive scheme to learn. Yuck.

swirvenirvin 25 Posted September 4, 2009 Wow let's go Boise St to avoid a disaterous first day NC St SC was one of the most pathetic games I have ever watched. ###### A NC St sucked.
Yer mom 2 Posted September 4, 2009 I hope your kidding. Worst uniform in college! It makes them quack more, now they just need to quack their way out of Idaho with a loss. It also for some reason makes me think of Hawaii (I have no idea how) but anything that reminds me of the Warriors gives me a happy feeling in my shorts. Yer mom 2 Posted September 4, 2009 Halftime: Oregon -.5 28.5 These lines are very unappealing. If anything I can see the offenses getting it together to get over that attainable total, but ill lay off here. Good luck!!

Yer mom 2 Posted September 4, 2009 OHHH!!! Garret Blount just jigabooed out and punched a Boise State player in the jaw!! Dude really unnecessarily riled him up though, I have to put this in the good sportsmanship thread I started. Handshake to start, jawbuster to finish. Oh the focking irony! Yer mom 2 Posted September 5, 2009 Being sound of heart, mind and soul= WAGER I hate being on the same side as the the public, it leads to losers but even with the replacement of David Johnson I get the feel that it wont matter with Tulsa's D vs. Tulane's O, and Tulsa's capability for replacing QB's who continue to light it up... Tulsa Golden Hurricanes -14 (small play) Good luck!!

PackYourNut 47 Posted September 5, 2009 YTD 2-1 Ga + 6 - 2 units -120 - I like Ga to win this game outright 28-24 Nev + 14.5 - 1 unit - Too much offense to be catching this many points, plus ND goes to Mich next week, Nev is off. Texas A&M -15 - 1 unit - NM is plain terrible and AM played well at the end of the season. Home field advantage . This will be a blow out. Miss - 16.5 - 1 unit -120 - Miss is potent on offense and solid on defense. Mem is not. Another blow out. EDIT: added Minn -7 (mostly because I need an early game to watch and they are returning 18 starters from last year) Also going to the ala vs vtech game this evening and will most likely be betting the under. Which is absolutely the worst bet for a game u are going to... lol

So: Boise State -2.5 (5 units) Under 65 (3 units) LETS MAKE SOME FOCKING MONEY! YTD 2-0 (+8 units) I couldn't start the season any better with Boise State doing exactly what I said, and there being rust. Today I have some action: Navy/Ohio State over 46.5 points (5 units) WINNER -I expect the Buckeye defense to be a little down and give up a couple scores but still cruise to a win which cruises this over past 46.5. UCON -3.5 over Ohio (2 units) WINNER -I struggled with this pick taking a road favorite, and UCON has lost kids to graduation. So I am only throwing a couple units on a program I feel is on the rise. Kentucky/Miami OH over 48 (5 units) LOSER -Kentucky may get the cover on this one by themselves. Illinois -6.5 over Missouri (2 units) LOSER IDIOTS -Total homer pick here fellas buyer beware. Baylor ML +115 over Wake Forest (2 units) WINNER -Lots of preseason hype with Baylor and they are on the road. I agree with Philly and think the money line here is a decent play. Northern Illinois +17 over Wisconsin (2 units) WINNER -Wisconsin is what I would call in the beginning of the end for their head coach. I see the Huskies giving them some trouble today. Washington State ML +600 (1 unit) LOSER Why not? USC/San Jose St over 47.5 (6 units) CHICKEN DINNER Yeah, I see this one 42-13 ish...... UW +18 over LSU (2 units) LSU on the road this one is a home doggy that I kind of think Locker and the Sark (UW new coach) will call this their Bowl game. Va Tech/Alabama over 37 (2 units) @ the Dome, I see a few more points than predicted.
JT 137 Posted September 5, 2009 Didn't get to participate as much last year as in years past. Glad to see the thread back, and looking forward to hearing from the usual suspects. I'm a notoriously slow starter, with very few plays early on. Here's all that really excite me in Week 1: Oregon +6 @ Boise: LOSER Rice +5 @ UAB: Riding the experts that feel the wrong team is favored here. Ohio +4.5 vs UConn: BIG game early for Ohio, with a chance to knock off one of the big conference boys. UConn lost a lot of skill from an offense that wasn't exactly overpowering last year. Classic setting for David vs a not-so-giant Goliath. ETA: The guys in the know say Troy is a strong play, so I'll ride their insight. Let's get off to a big start! Add Troy -7 LOSER Best of luck to all! ETA: Georgia +5 @ Ok St LOSER Nevada +14 @ ND LOSER
