Tony_Romo_Domination 0 Posted October 3, 2009 http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4528142 "It was to a point where I felt like guys who walked through those doors that just were there to collect a check and not really interested in putting everything that they had within themselves on to the football field" Sounds like an entire team of Crabtrees trying to get paid and not caring about winning. Why did they pass on crabtree? Crabtree would have been a perfect fit.

mambokings 0 Posted October 3, 2009 The Raiders are the L.A. Clippers of professional football. One bad owner sinks the franchise, decade after decade.
BirdBradyBobbyOrr 0 Posted October 4, 2009 I remember a few weeks ago somebody posted a poll here about "The worst QB in the NFL". I have never seen a topic where so many different Forearm members agreed. Jamarcus Russell was pretty much unanimous. If everybody in the country can see it I don't see how the Raiders don't. I'm sure Jamarcus is a nice guy, and I'm sure he would make an adequate backup but he will NEVER be an quality NFL QB.

R8RMick 242 Posted October 4, 2009 Oh my, another 'Raiders are pathetic' story... Thanks for starting such an insightful thread. I found this little nugget in the Garcia article. Just like reading a piece in the NY Times. You've got to go three-quarters of the way through a story to find anything of substance. "Maybe it's because how things have been for a number of years now out there and they just don't see the hope," he said. That's the most revealing statement describing a situation on an NFL team that I've ever seen. Attitude reflects leadership. Cable's a plumber, and Al's basically still Al. What's new here?
