kilroy69 1,216 Posted October 31, 2009 This has to be the worst officiated game I have ever seen in my entire life. And I am not a homer for either team. The refs pretty much gave the game to iowa. 5 official reviews and the only 2 that were reveresed were Indiana td's? Yea ###### right. Not only that the second one they overturned there was no visual evidence that would warrant overturning it.

kilroy69 1,216 Posted November 1, 2009 Ok, they can have the 2 tds...they still lose! Well hell. When it starts to become obvious that the refs dont want you to win with pathetic call after pathetic call. Im serious. I would look for at least an apology and possibly a suspension. Im a hurricane fan. I could care less who won that game really other than wanting to see a good upset. While watching the game I got the distinct impression that they were trying to fock indiana. You dont know how those tds would have changed the game.
rallo 136 Posted November 1, 2009 i am biased because i am a homer... BUT only one of those calls was bad... and that was the play where they REVERSED the call on the field (where it looked like he might have dragged his foot before his knee/butt hit out of bounds... that was a fairly hard call, but the call on the field was touchdown... so there should have been no way that the call was reversed... the other call however i feel the officials got it right... the player didn't have possession until he was out of bounds... i thought that it was pretty obvious that he didn't have possession in bounds because the ball was rolling down his forearms... the officials got that right on the field... and didn't overturn it... bob davie (the announcer i think) was just a whiny little b1tch... in face on the play mentioned in the 2nd paragraph (where the ball slid down the WRs arms) davie's dumb ass was complaining about it saying "i don't think that it was enough of a bobble to be incomplete..." then stated they should overturn the call and make it a touchdown... how retarded is that? NOT ENOUGH OF A BOBBLE??? sure... the one call was horrible, but it happens... the OFFICIALS didn't throw a pick to the house on the next play.... the OFFICIALS didn't shank a chip shot field goal... hoosiers are choke artists... plain and simple
kilroy69 1,216 Posted November 1, 2009 Dont forget the horrible personal foul on a helmet to helmet that was not really. He lead with his shoulder and his head happened to his the other guys helmet which is no foul. That just "happened" to be on a 4th down for iowa? yea right. Makes me suspect the officials. Yer mom 2 Posted November 1, 2009 I watched 5 CF games today, typical Saturday. This week was no different from other weeks, they should all be shot for stupidity/blindness/fixed action. Pick one
mayhem39 3 Posted November 1, 2009 the officiating is terrible every week but if you watched the game you could see Iowa was clearly the better team. They played like crap for 3 qtrs but got it done in the 4th.

Makes me suspect the officials. that call was questionable... and it was right in front of the iowa bench... so maybe the official was influenced there, but there WAS helmet to helmet contact... i'm not saying it's the right call... but the NCAA has been calling that all year... christ... the NFL has been calling that all year
