thesitedoc 5 Posted June 22, 2010 After 13 years of FF our league is going to go with online scoring. What do you experts find to be the most user freindly source.
madd futher mucker 36 Posted June 22, 2010 For a free league, you can't do much better than yahoo which no longer charges for real-time scoring. For a site that charges, you can't do much better than MyFantasy Leage (MFL). They only charge six bucks per team and I've never had a problem with them. Especially good for dynasty leagues. madd futher mucker 36 Posted June 23, 2010 MFL I'd agree, but he is looking for a site that is FREE.
c9h13no3 0 Posted June 23, 2010 I'd agree, but he is looking for a site that is FREE. I've played in several free leagues on Yahoo & ESPN, and I prefer ESPN. But if you went with Yahoo, you'd be just fine as well.

I don't exactly know when they began doing it, but Yahoo free leagues do allow for blind-bid waiver pick-ups with 3 different bid tiebreaker options. since Yahoo is the only FREE league format I've ever played in, I can't say whether or not they are better than ESPN or fleaflicker, but I have commished a league there for a long time and I've never had an issue with them. Traveler 2 0 Posted June 27, 2010 I think it's Yahoo hands down for a free league. With ESPN you have to deal with the crap that goes along with ESPN. Also, on free ESPN QBs default to 4 pts for a td and they have double rounds in the playoffs.

My money league has been ran on ESPN for years and no one has any complaints. It is free and they have vastly improved their settings for more flexibility. I like it much better than yahoo. I on the other hand think Yahoo UI is much cleaner and the layout accessibility is much easier with all the changes you need to do on a day to day basis. Their reliability is up there with all the other sites as well. IMHO, Yahoo.

Im curious because i think most trepidation toward ESPN is because of their size as a company and the feeling that their CS is probably poor because of that. I've actually had great experiences with their customer service for all fantasy sports. also, why not adjust scoring to your preferences? they don;t force you to use default settings, lol. Durtee 0 Posted June 29, 2010 Free- ESPN.... Yahoo is alright too. Paid- MFL..... Love MFL, it's worth every penny. They allow you to design your own league pages using CSS and HTML codes. There are plenty of guys on their forum that help you with that as well. And like someone else said, it's only $6 per team. Great live scoring features, tons of stat tracking. Edit: 1 negative thing for MFL is the drafting. They really don't have great live drafting options. My league just uses ESPN for our Auction draft and then we move the players over to the appropriate teams in MFL.
