Lets find some deep WR sleepers! Sleepers from past 3 years studied...

Recommended Posts

I've got my own preliminary idea of an order for the top 9 - it would certainly include A Gonzalez and Mike Thomas, but would anyone else care to take a stab at the order of the top 9? Just for fun?

BTW if you have STRONG opinions for or against a certain player or players on this list I'd sure like to hear from ya.

Top 9 from that list? Mine would go something like this:

Julian Edelman (provided Welker starts on PUP)

Devin Thomas

Louis Murphy

Anthony Gonzalez

Brian Hartline

Mike Thomas

Early Doucet

Josh Morgan

Harry Douglas

Edelman NEP

Gibson STL

Murphy OAK

Nelson GB

T Owens ??

Stroughter TB

Brandon Tate NEP

Mike Thomas JAX

Devin Thomas WASH

Just quickly looking, I like these guys as a top 9, not necessarily in any order. Ranking them is pretty tough right now, but I like Murphy, Stroughter, Nelson, and TO depending on where he ends up. Mike Thomas could provide WR3 numbers in PPR leagues if its deep enough, but unless you've got 14 teams, he probably won't be worth owning, and his upside seems low to me with MSW in town. T.O. could have a ton of Derick Mason type upside (putting up top 20 numbers, but passed over in drafts because he's old). However, he could also be worthless if he ends up in a bad spot like he did last year. But talent-wise, I don't think TO is done yet.

Gonzo has talent, but he's also got a ton of competition. Garcon, Collie, Clark, and Wayne are all talented WR's, and I'd go with youth before I'd pick up A. Gonz.

Edelman will likely have value for the first 3-4 weeks at least. After that, his value takes a hit.

How is what I posted in anyway an opinion?

It's not an opinion. It was your reporting of a fact. rosslive doesn't seem to understand this and apparently just wants to dismiss you in favor of Rotoworld. Seems silly.
