MRclutch4 0 Posted August 13, 2010 Right now i have Kenny Britt as one of my WR's. I'm thinking of letting him go and picking up Jeremy Maclin. Both are good receivers, but i'm not sure who's starting at the Wide position in Tennessee, and i am a little concerned about Vince Young throwing the ball enough times (seeing that he likes to scramble and run) in order to give Britt some chances. Also, i'm hesitant about Maclin because of Kolb's inexperience as a starter. Should i keep Britt or should i release him and pick up Maclin? My league is non-PPR. Thanks for any input! Durtee 0 Posted August 13, 2010 I would much rather have Maclin. The Eagles throw a lot and Andy Reid is going to want to prove that he made the right decision with Kolb by giving him every opportunity to succeed. To me that means that Maclin, Celek & Jackson are all solid players to have in that offense. I do like Britt as well, but I don't think his opportunities are going to compare to Maclins. Please see mine as well. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=367183
Hobbit 0 Posted August 13, 2010 I agree with you guys, Maclin. He may share the ball a lot with DeSean Jackson and Celek, but probably not as much as Britt will have to fight with Chris Johnson for the ball in TEN. Thanks for answering mine. Hope I am able to help.
mrgymrat 0 Posted August 13, 2010 I agree with the guys above - I would much rather have Maclin. While Kolb is the new starter, you know the Iggles will throw the ball and Maclin as the #2 WR should draw favorable coverage w/ DeSean on the other side. Much more likely to post big numbers than Britt in TEN. --- Thanks in advance for answering my question : http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=367211
