ESPN question

Recommended Posts

never have had an issue with ESPN but it seems i've run into one.

is there a way to randomize the season schedule? im sure there was an option last season but I don't see it this year and currently it is using the same schedule as 2009.

I assume you mean the weeks in which owners play each other? I don't think I've ever seen that option. It's been several years since I commished on ESPN though.

I don't think there's a way to randomize the schedule. If you really want to change it up, you'd have to manually change head to head matchups each week. Seems like a lot of work.

so far what i've found is a way to manually change each week (a pain and not impartial) and also a way to reset the schedule to default (i guess to undo any changes).

in previous years i am almost positive i have been able to shuffle the schedule so that the weekly matchups are not the same as the previous year. considering some owners play each other twice and some only once, it would be nice to have a randomized schedule.

if this was never an option or is no longer and option, it would be big points against ESPN and would make me rethink my positive stance on them.

I noticed the same thing, same schedule as '09 and no easy fix to change it. I'm not going in there and doing it manually, so screw it. <_<

Could you create separate divisions? The schedule would change to reflect the adjusted setup. Once you get that new schedule, do away with the divisions altogether. Maybe you end up in the same place. But maybe it's a roundabout way at "randomizing" the schedule.

:dunno:

that was the first thing i tried but "reset" means undoing any changes. so it either changes nothing or resets any manual changes made.

I added divisions, then reset the schedule, then removed the divisions and the schedule remains that way unless you reset it. I just wanted different matchups than the year before and that's what I ended up with. Good suggestion.
