Baltimore WR hierarchy

Recommended Posts

Pretty obvious that Boldin is the #1 WR for that team, however now what happens between Mason and Housh? I thought Mason was great value in the draft before the trade, now I am ready to kick him to the curb even though he is like my #5WR (technically #4 until Holmes comes back).

My 2 Cents, this is Flacco's progression for game 1:

1. Boldin

2. Rice

3. Mason

4. Housh

Housh is better then Clayton though, so he will get relied on more and more as the season progresses and will eventually get to number 2 on that list.

umm... Clayton plays for the Rams now B) I drafted Mason for the same reason  But I'm not ready to dump him yet...

Mason will be facing the #2 corner every week for the first time in years, and Flacco already has a comfort level with him. I see Mason as the clear #2 and Housh is the #3 WR with lot's of catching up to do.

Overall, Flacco will have more options and will resort less to his dump offs to Rice. I'd be surprised if he catches 50 balls this year.

I think age starts catching up to Mason this year but I'm not sure this spells more rec for Rice or Housh. I could see Heap reaping the benefit if Mason declines. Trying to talk myself into picking up Housh in one league but after suffering through last season with him as my #2 I can't pull the trigger.

I think Housh will present good value this year for owners. He's been dropped in many leagues, or can be had for very little. Masons age catches up to him this year...

Yeah, yeah... You know what I meant... I also didn't mean he'd be throwing to my house instead of Housh.
