:: Bradshaw or DA? ::

Recommended Posts

We all know Foster ran like hell over Indy, so I'm leaning toward Bradshaw (behind Chris Johnson). TB didn't allow all that many rushing yds. from Cleveland's backfield, but FF is projecting 100 yds./TD for DA.

I know I'm a homer, but I don't see CJ having all that big a day against the Steelers... but I'd be crazy to start those two guys and sit CJ.. RIGHT? CJ is my keeper and I sat him last year against the Steelers and it worked well for me.

THANKS!!! Will answer yours with link.

I'm a Bucs fan and its sad for me to say but we can't stop a good rushing attack if DA deangelo williams he kills us every time, Matt Moore is banged up Fox will put down our throats. As for Bradshaw I'm starting him against the Colts , not only did their tackling look horrible but they couldnt get off blocks and now B. Sanders is out, make no mistake about it the colts will play better at home and Payton will have the foot on the gas trying to turn it into a track match but Bradshaw can run after the catch and a swing pass could go for big yardage. With all that being said DA is a must start vs TB at home the other is a toss up because Pitts D is so tough against the run, no guarantees but I would sit CJ

Thanks! There are rare times that "never sit your studs" bites ya in the rear, and I think this could be one of them. Needed one other person agreeing to get me thinking of sitting CJ. Plus, he played OAK last week and only had 30 yards before he took off for that 76-er.

Tough call. I am having trouble typing this, but I would lean towards benching the best running back in the game. I have CJ as well, but don't have the luxury of a great RB3.

My only concern is that Jacobs is a pretty good matchup vs Indy, despite Bradshaw being the better RB overall. This is something I'd try to monitor through the local NY press as the week goes on.

You really aren't thinking of sitting CJ are you. I know the matchup looks bad but this guy is a freak, all it takes is one cut and he can be gone for another 75yd td and that's all it takes to make it worth while putting him in your lineup. Never sit him, ever. I'd play him and Bradshaw, who is a much better overall back and makes alot more plays when he gets the ball.

+1. It's a tough matchup but CJ will find a way to put up points. Agree with Bradshaw

I had Turner last week and he did nothing against Steelers. Logic says to stay away from CJ this week. However, CJ is a lot quicker and more elusive. I expect him to get 60 yds rushing and 30+ receiving. You have to start DeAngelo. Bradshaw has a good matchup and as mentioned will get several passes thrown his way and the Giants will want to run more to keep the ball away from Peyton. The big difference between selecting Bradshaw or CJ is based on who you think will get more TDs. If you think they are equal then go with CJ.
