cheesesteaks 0 Posted September 15, 2010 The guy who picked up Brandon Jackson now wants to trade him. He also wants to get rid of Calvin Johnson for better WR. I'm assuming that he thinks that the change in QB will hurt CJ. My WRs are: Randy Moss, Steve Smith (NYG), Crabtree, Knox, Santana Moss, and Jacoby Jones My RBs are: SJax, Jamaal Charles, Ahmad Bradshaw, Felix Jones, and Bernard Scott. Since this is a non-PPR league I was considering offering Bradshaw and Steve Smith or Crabtree for CJ and Brandon Jackson. Should I do this deal? should I start by offering Felix Jones instead? Post your link and I will help you.

Lamb of God 15 Posted September 15, 2010 Is Jackson really gonna be any better than Bradshaw at years end barring no injuries? Who knows. I think you're deep enough at rb that I would hold onto Bradshaw. Do you really want Calvin that bad? With Hill at qb I don't know what's gonna happen to that guy so I think you're actually safer with Smith, so I don't think you really need to make a trade. Otherwise if you really want to I'd offer Smith and Jones for Calvin and Jackson and if he doesn't go for it I'd sub in Smith but I really think it's a wash of a trade at this point in the season anyway. If Stafford was still there I would say go for Calvin for sure.
purple 0 Posted September 15, 2010 detroit homer here.. Looks like stafford will be back sooner than later. Probably within 3 weeks. Some think he has only bruised shoulder and may not need to recoup much. Trip to andrews to see if can play sooner than bye week without long term injury. I like calvin for cheap now. i think jackson is money number 2 but also like bradshaw. I guess I give nudge to jackson. Please check mine.. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=370296
str8playa007 0 Posted September 15, 2010 I wouldn't deal for Jackson just yet. the word out is that Green Bay has shown some interest in Jones out of Seattle, Lynch and maybe even McGahee...Kuhn is gonna get all of goal line carries.

I think Bradshaw is in for a big year, and would try my best not to have to dump him. Another thing to keep in mind, don't let your starting line suffer at this point just to boost the bench a bit. It seems to me that Jackson won't see any playing time for you, and CJ is questionable at best right now over those other receivers. You definately don't bench R Moss, and I think a platoon of Smith and S Moss will do well playing matchups.
thegame7000 0 Posted September 16, 2010 I agree, I would start out offering Felix as well. Either way, get Megatron
Folger71 0 Posted September 16, 2010 CJ is a monster, not sure how much you can upgrade... That catch (YES, I said catch) should have won that game for DET on Sunday, and Hill threw it if I am not mistaken. 'Process' meh, the dude caught the ball. I digress, Megatron is an elite WR regardless of who is throwing to him. I would try that Steve Smith/Crabtree & Felix for CJ and Jackson trade and if he doesn't take it upgrade the RB you offer.
