Okay, I've been trying to peddle a couple of my "sell high" guys for Pierre Thomas. The guy just countered and threw me for a loop by offering Andre Johnson in the deal...

My thoughts:

 

I need an elite WR IMO to have a championship squad. Fitz doesn't seem to have the ceiling he did last year b/c Anderson is terrible. Nicks is good and I like his upside but he'll be inconsistent I feel. Dre is a beastman without question. I'm iffy about parting ways with Foster because MJD is underperforming and Mathews just got hurt... and that's really my only hangup here. The guy, however, is goo goo over Foster and I think he's overpaying me for him.

 

What's your thoughts on this deal?? Part of me says jump at it before he thinks it over too long. The other part says don't give up Foster because he's going to be a beast/top 3 RB all season...

 

What should I do? Do it or stand pat?? Thanks!

My concern is that you are very thin at wideout and if you trade Nicks, you are starting AJ and Bowe. AJ I like, but Bowe is hardly a WR2.

I'd be tempted to make the trade then look for another trade packaging Bowe and Mcfadden (While he's still hot) for a solid WR2.

take the trade and run, upgrade at WR..check. With Bush out, Thomas and Foster are a wash imo.

I'd do it. Without knowing the schedule, PT should be able to replace some of Foster's production and you can play matchups with MJD and McFadden for now. I love having strong WRs and while Fitz may not be elite like last year, he's at worst a strong #2 WR.

My main issue boils down to:

 

Is the upgrade from Nicks to AJ worth the downgrade from Foster to Thomas??

I'm not sure with Bush out for 6 weeks that PT is a downgrade from Foster. With NO being the heaviest team in the league for screens, PTs workload could pick up nicely for the next few weeks.

absolutely, I honestly feel Thomas and Foster are equal right now with bush out.

 

Foster owners are just looking at week 1. Houston could go ground big or air it out you never know, NO always uses the same game plan

Pierre is better than Foster now. Its an upgrade!
