Need help with flex slot: Nicks, Green-Ellis, or Britt

Recommended Posts

Hi, today I'm starting A Rodgers at QB, Jennings, Gaffney, and Mike Williams (Seattle) at WR, McCoy and Ivory at RB, A Hernandez at TE, Seattle DEF, and Hartley at K. I have 2 flex spots open and due to bye weeks, my only options are Hakeem Nicks, Kenny Britt, and Benjarvus Green-Ellis. Obviously I would like to start Nicks, but he's questionable and if he plays, it's against Dallas who's very good against the pass. Britt has been good too, but with the QB situation unclear, it's hard to know what to expect from Britt. And Green-Ellis has taken on more of a short-yardage and goal-line role with the emergence of Danny Woodhead, plus he's playing a pretty good San Diego defense. So i need to pick 2 of these guys. I'd hate to pick Nicks then find out Monday night he's out, so the safest thing to do might be to sit him, but he says he's definitely playing and does seem to be on the positive side of questionable.

Please send advice, thanks! Will respond to all.

I think Nicks will play, and should be in your line up.

I would lean towards Britt. He's an idiot, but he's got the skills. Collins has one receiver, and its Britt. The Eagles D can certainly be exploited.

No way to know what will happen with the Pats RBs. Belichek does his own thing, and on the road against a tough SD Defense, I don't see BGE being a major producer today.

Kenny Britt Will Play, But Not Start, Versus Eagles

Thanks for mine.

Yes, I suppose that even if Britt doesn't start, he'll still see significant time because he is just about their only option at WR. Not starting him is just a token symbolic gesture that the team doesn't approve of his off-field actions, but they're not going to risk losing. He could sit out the first series and then play the rest of the game.
