So I've been watching the Science channel

B: Quantum Physics. Also proven real.

 

Long story short, both can't be right ... you end up with an infinite infinite. So, along comes string theory, which is a multiverse type of theory. Well in this universe, we seem to be getting farther away from other stars. We know that. It looks very bleak for humans, really. In the long run.
