Joe Webb - QB and WR eligible in Yahoo!

Recommended Posts

I'll take a shot:

165 yds passing, 45 yds rushing. Possibly a TD, and 3 ints.

A fair flex play with shoot-for-the fences- upside in standard scoring, but I think anyone starting him at Wr in a PPR league versus more reasonable true WR options will be very disappointed.

I'm gonna say:

Passing: 100 to 250 yds, 0-2 INTs

Rushing. 10 to 90 yds

TDs: 0-4 (could run one in)

Receiving: 0-20 yards

BJs from SUX while waiting in line: 5-7

You do the math.

I'm thinking 150 through the air, 20-30 on the ground, possibly 1 td either rushing or passing, up to three turnovers.

That would be between 8.5-14.5, not a horrible range and obviously the upside is quite a lot higher than that.

I guess the question to me is how bad does your WR3 option have to be to take Webb? For me, I'm looking at Branch as a wr3 so I'm not really sure it's actually a good idea.

As you can see .... if your league gives points for BJs from SUX .... he's a great play.

And I'm not saying he's gonna come everytime ... but if your league gives bonuses for a jizz up the nose .... you gotta play him.

Well, with Rogers officially out, it doesn't look good for Jennings. Joe Webb might be the best option out there at this point.

I'm in the same boat... Is it crazy to bench Jennings for Webb? :|

Actual: 129 yds passing, 38 yds rushing. One TD, and 2 ints. That is 12.4 fantasy points assuming fairly 'standard' QB scoring. Of course the TD Webb scored was huge.

By comparison, Harvin put up 18.1 in PPR and 13.1 in Std scoring, and Knox put up 15.8 in PPR and 13.8 in Std scoring. While Hester got 10.3 and Shiancoe put up 10.1 in PPR, no other WR on either the Vikes or the Bears came close to Webb's numbers.

Really weak.

Basically it is cheating. Nobody here drafted J. Webb so to say that someone drafted him as a WR is not right. He is not a WR, so you should not be able to play him as one.

Plain and simple.

If he is starting as a QB and playing as a QB then he is a QB!

Clearly it is like putting in ANY QB in another position other than QB.

If you do it, you play to win by cheating/bending the rules. If you win because of this you will be known as a piece of trash that plays shady. I would not allow you in my league....

Amazing as I am dealing with a guy in our league that is already know as a shady character....guess who he has playing as a wr against me in the championship game...
