Giants Fan 85 Posted August 29, 2011 How many teams in the league? Oh sorry. 12. Low $ w/ auction draft.
dcvalpo 0 Posted August 29, 2011 Oh sorry. 12. Low $ w/ auction draft. Brees and Calvin are no-brainer, great picks. I'm very high on McFadden, so nice job there. Your receiver group is solid and you are very strong at TE. Your only weakness, and it is kind of a big one, is your second running back. Tolbert is a 7th/8th rounder in our league and Thomas Jones is a nobody these days. I would try to upgrade there.
Giants Fan 85 Posted August 29, 2011 RB prices were INSANE! I had to pay $45 to get McFadden ($200 total budget). Ray Rice or better went for $55+.
martinimike 0 Posted August 29, 2011 personally I like Tolbert but as a flex. I also like your starters but I don't see a solid player on your bench unless your in a ppr league then Amendola is solid, probably better then Moore
Giants Fan 85 Posted August 29, 2011 Nope. Not a PPR league. But I got Amendola for $2. He'll be steady. I think he will improve his numbers from last year. At that price ... I gotta take him as a backup. Doesn't conflict with my byes, too.
utvol5 0 Posted August 29, 2011 I really like your team for the exception of your RB's. Darren McFadden is a GREAT pick, but has a tendancy to get HURT. With that said you #2, #3, and #4 RB's are low level guys. If McFadden stays healthy you could be ok though. Rate my team.10 Team PPR (we start 1 qb, 2rbs, 2wrs, 1 flex, 1kicker, 1 def) QB- M Ryan, Flacco RB- F Gore, L McCoy, T Hightower, K Hunter (Gores Back up) WR- R White, D Bowe, K Britt, & M Simms Walker TE- D Clark, Pettigrew K- Rackers Def- 49ers, Dophins
cleve68 0 Posted August 29, 2011 QB: set for the season, just pick up a good matchup Week 11 for Brees bye week RB: if McFadden can stay healthy your good, Tolbert may only be a goal line back WR: Clavin Johnson is of course a #1, Boldin should do pretty good this year with Lee Evans in Baltimore TE: set there too K: its a kicker, good haha Flex: Lance Moore will see A LOT of passes from Brees, which is god for you Brees/Moore
bigmark3333 11 Posted August 29, 2011 I would try to trade Witten + one of your lower level rb's for an upgrade at RB. Your RB's after McFadden are weak, with little depth (although I like both Tolbert and Woodhead as RB 3/4 or flex guys, just not as a #2). Besides, I see Pettigrew on your bench and I think he will do well enough this year that you won't miss Witten much. Other than that, a pretty nice team. polecatt 405 Posted August 29, 2011 I like the team okay. Tolbert could very well be the starter by some point this season. If not he will at least be a TD scorer which is not a bad thing. The rest is solid but you do lack a little depth. Do like us all and hope there are no injuries. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=386920
