SameSongNDance 0 Posted September 16, 2011 I've won every 10 team league I've participated in (3) so I'm slightly bias towards them. I think 12 team involves more WW skill though.
sirensong 111 Posted September 16, 2011 i prefer 10-team. enjoy 12s, but have the most fun in 10s.
Shakespeare 0 Posted September 16, 2011 I'm going to give another +1 to the 8 team league. I agree that 10, 12, 14, 16 team leagues require more research and, one could argue, skill. However, I just find that my 8 team league is more fun. Is my team stacked? Yes, but so is everyone else's. Thus, having a good team doesn't win you a championship. Having a _great_ team does. There are no scheduling advantages (each team plays one another exactly twice). Plus, you just have way more fun watching your guys play. I really enjoy my 12 team league but I _love_ my 8 team league. I encourage anyone who hasn't tried it to get together 7 of your closest, most competitive friends and give one a shot. IN$TANT REPAY 11 Posted September 16, 2011 not opposed to 12, but prefer 10. My problem with 12 or even 14 is that other than 1 RB, 1WR & 1 QB that are good, the rest of the team is made up of lousy players and not much fun to watch. Whatever the size of the league you are still competeing with the same rules as everybody else so with a little bit of luck you can do well. Important to make the buy-in fee worth while. Small pot to dole out no matter the size is not much fun at all. anything above 12 should involve IDP to be fair....IMHO.
