Is dickson available?

No. Since we can flex te's, all of the remotely good plays are gone.

Not trying to turn this into a help thread though.

Does anyone have a gut feeling on a TE who hasn't produced yet?

Does Kendricks maybe step it up against the Skins this week at home?

What about Shaincoe? McNabb is going to need a safety valve.

Thanks. That's what I'm looking for. Only one caught last week but I didn't realize he scored a TD.

Could be a decent TD play against the Chefs.

Casey - big risk, big reward - no doubt Owens and of course AJohnson gets the defensive game plan, so ...

Cook - could be decent, CLE is so-so vs the TE's

Cooley - all he does is catch touchdowns ... Oh nevermind, that was so 2008. STL is actually GREAT vs TE's, plus there is Damn Davis!

I say in that order .... why? Not sure, but probably more they are start with C and it's in alphabetical order.

If you are looking for 1-2 weeks (until Hernandez returns, which could be THIS WEEK) I say Casey.

Well Mueller, ###### like this interests me. I'm always looking for the diamond in the rough even if I'm stacked at said position. Let's check out the surface information on the TEs you mentioned (weekly targets, match-up and etc.)..

* Heap *

Weekly Targets: (3), (2), (10), (15 Total) - [caught 9 (64%) for 109 yards, 0 TDs]

Match-Up: NYG ranks 7th against oppossing TEs

* Kendricks *

Weekly Targets: (5), (4), (3), (12 Total) - [caught 4 (33%) for 69 yards, 0 TDs]

Match-Up: WAS ranks 16th against opposing TEs

* Casey *

Weekly Targets: (3), (0), (7), (10 Total) - [caught 8 (80%) for 155 yads, 1 TD]

Match-Up: PIT ranks 12th against opposing TEs (can Casey even be considered a TE?)

* Moore *

Weekly Targets: (6), (1), (3), (10 Total) - [caught 6 (60%) for 70 yards, 2 TDs]

Match-Up: TEN ranks 3rd against opposing TEs

* Watson *

Weekly Targets: (7), (4), (10), (21 Total) - [caught 10 (48%) for 125 yards, 1 TD]

Match-Up: TEN ranks 3rd against opposing TEs

* Cooley *

Weekly Targets: (3), (2), (5), (10 Total) - [caught 6 (60%) for 62 yards, 0 TDs]

Match-Up: STL ranks 1rst against opposing TEs

Based off of statistics alone, I'm going to have to say Watson, even though he has a pretty tough match-up. Second would either go to Heap who has a higher floor, lower ceiling or Casey who is the inverse. A sneaky play could be Shockey, seeing as how he's going up against the 29th ranked defense against opposing TE's in CHI. Scheffler and Shianncoe also come to mind due to their juicy match-ups.

* Shockey *

Weekly Targets: (3), (5), (7) (15 Total) - [caught 9 (60%) for 137 yards, 0 TDs]

Match-Up: CHI ranks 29th against opposing TEs

* Scheffler *

Weekly Targets: (1), (4), (1), (6 Total) - [caught 3 (50%) for 51 yards, 2 TDs]

Match-Up: DAL ranks 26th against opposing TEs

* Shiancoe *

Weekly Targets: (1), (7), (2), (10 Total - [caught 4 (40%) for 36 yards, 1 TD]

Match-Up: KC ranks 27th against opposing TEs

I would like to point out something. When my friend and I were drafting for our big $$$ league, he pointed something out to me about McNabb...he loves his TE. In 2009 Celek finished the year with a 76/971/8 stat line and in 2010 Cooley finished the year with a 77/849/3 stat line. If McNabb could get his ###### together I don't see why Shiancoe can't catch 60-70 balls.

Maybe Jared Cook, as Britt is out, Joe Haden will be covering Nate Washington tight, and the running game is meh so far.

:thumbsup:

It will take some faith to start him though.

I like Jared Cook for the above reasons. I also like Greg Olsen and Jeremy Shockey because of the two deep defense frequently used by Chicago. I'm sure Olsen is gone, but I doubt anyone has Shockey.

@ Same Song....Great Post and info.

Watson is currently the 7th most targeted TE on a team that doesn't have any receivers and who probably wants to run the ball but might struggle to do so against Tenn.

He might be the play this week. It's either him or Shiancoe right now.

Watson has a better qb and twice the targets so I might look to pick him up instead.

watch out for RUDOLPH ...could be his "break-out" party vs the Chefs ! :overhead:

1-Cook

Without Britt he should see plenty of targets.

2-McMichael-In place of Gates last week he caught 4 (5?) for 50+ yards

I'll start him as my backup-Kendricks-never has emerged

I think he may be better than all the others mentioned above.
