Helu or M. Bush?

Recommended Posts

I have a tough call between Helu and M. Bush in the flex.

M. Bush is going against the Packers so I could easily see them getting down early and Bush having a bad game like last week.

But Helu is facing the Patriots in which I could see the same thing happening..

Who would you go with?

I'm starting helu over bush this week. I think you're right in that they are both facing similar situations with getting down early and abandoning the run game. The upside for helu is that shanahan has shown over the past couple weeks that they're not afraid to throw the ball to helu coming out of the backfield, so he should still see a decent amount of touches even if they're losing badly. In addition, the loss of davis means that sexy rexy has one less target to throw to, which only increases helu's value. I just don't see bush being as involved late in the game, although he is bound to get a few looks near the goal line. Also, he is coming off a couple of disappointing weeks, so I'm reluctant to start him.

if you need upside and it is a ppr, go with helu. even if they are down, he will be the release with fred davis out.

if you want 8 to 14 points and want to hate marcel reese club, go with bush.

I would go Helu here, as I think regardless of the score, he will get plenty of touches rushing and receiving.

Thanks for answering mine.

Helu! Hot hand, run with him. I am. He was always going to be a big part of this game, but that part might be even bigger with Davis gone.

My bigger problem is that I am also contemplating S Moss in Flex and I am in the beginning stages of potentially outsmarting myself with Grossman over Vick. But yegads... three Redskins in first round of fantasy playoffs feels very scary.
