Deal Lacy and Thompkins for Sproles?

I've got Alfred Morris, David Wilson, Lacy, Snelling, Le'Veon Bell and Woodhead at RB

 

VJax, Torrey Smith, Thompkins, Hartline, Blackmon and Harvin at WR.

 

Start two RB, two WR, one flex. With Blackmon back next week, I like the idea of packaging Thompkins with a back for an upgrade at RB, especially with Wilson in limbo. I'm just not positive that Sproles actually is an upgrade on Lacy. What do you guys think?

Being ppr, Sproles is an upgrade to Lacy. I just think you will have a hard time selling Thompkins until he is consistent. I would move VJax for Sproles in ppr. Tampa is sucking some kind of awful now, and with his ribs beat up, and a horrible schedule looming, I would sell him now.

If you can pull it off, definitely trade lacy and thompkins for sproles.

There is no doubt that I would package these 2 above for Sproles, he is worth his weight in gold in that offense, especially ppr.

I'm kind of torn here. I think thompkins will get better and better. Brady has very few targets and he is a big one. The guys on siriusxm love Lacy. I tried to get him in my drafts but he was gone too early for my taste. I'm in a full point ppr and wanted him. Both of them for Sproles I don't know, especially .5 ppr. Sproles has 0 TDs. Who says Lacy won't be a good ppr back. His single catch went for 31 yards! Ha! I think it's too early to deal thompkins, he could be a diamond in the rough and Wilson's better days are ahead of him. Thanks for your reply on mine and I'm not going to trade Forte for Brees.

Yeah this is very difficult - Sproles should have the higher floor all season and the Packers are a passing offense still. Lacy will have to split with Franklin at this rate.

I would definitely do it. GB run game is a crapshoot at best, and who knows what Thompkins' future holds once Amendola & Gronk come back. Sproles is a proven commodity.

 

You can probably find someone on waivers comparable to Thompkins anyway at this point.

I am thinking, until Lacy is healthy, you are going to have a hard time selling him.
