Championship Round (Weeks 15 and 16 Aggregate) HELP

Recommended Posts

Rashad Jennings clears concussion protocol. I was down 6 going into this past week, took a high risk/reward chance on Marcel Reece and it paid off big and I advanced to the Championship. Now that Jennings appears to be back, my RB 2 options are:

Jennings

Ridley

Sproles

*Claim in for Gherhart

I also have Michael Floyd in the flex who Palmer seemed to favor Fitz over, heavily, thinking of benching him this week and flexing out one of the above RBs as well.

ROMO

MCCOY

RB2 ?

T. SMITH

K. ALLEN

FLEX ?

J. THOMAS

DEF

KICK

Will answer yours happily as well.

For week 15 I rank those as follows:

Gerhart (assuming he rebounds from the hammy injury and is probable)

Jennings

Sproles / Floyd

Ridley

Gerhart will be a three down back if he plays, and will get screens as well as goal line carries. Don't like Jennings' match-up that much but at least he's a clear starter. Sproles is so sporadic, you never know whether he or Thomas are going to get the carries/screens. Floyd has to go against TEN who has held everyone in check except Denver. And Ridley is a joke. I expect to see increased workload from Vereen and a mix of Bolden/Blount/Ridley for carries.

I have Ridley as well, you just can't trust him any more, so he's not a consideration. I can't take another 4 point week, so Ridley is permanently stapled to the bench.

Sproles can't be trusted, he had 1 carry for a big 38 yard run last week, and they still won't give him more attempts. This is the Drew Brees show all the way. DS isn't worth the measly 5 points you might get, at BEST, at worst you'll get 0.

That unfortunately leaves Jennings and Floyd as your best options, which still aren't great...

Throw out ridley and sproles and you got jennings and gerhart. I'm in a similar situation. If i had to pick right now I'd probably go Jennings over just cause Gerhart is still nursing the hamstring but its very close.

I would play either one of those two over Floyd at the flex...tennessee has been good against the pass and like you said Fitz is the hot hand. Rather take the volume play with the running backs.

I'm saying Jennings/Floyd... The hot hand always cools down... I read an article explaining why Fitz may not have a TD the rest of the year starting week 15... I don't remember where it was but the jist of is... TEN for one has a sneaky good D/ST... and will focus on him... leaves Floyd in a position to play that "Riley Cooper Role" and be the safety valve/go-to. Maybe I'm gutsy, but that's just the way I see it.
