Released this very day in 1971, one of The Who's finest ever singles and one of the best and most performed numbers at dozens of concerts over the years. Happy 45th birthday to 'Won't Get Fooled Again', released this day in 1971 as Track 2094 009. The US record label stated "From the motion picture Lifehouse", a film that was never made. 'Won't Get Fooled Again' has been a show-closer at countless concerts over the years including on the current The Who Hits 50! tour and here, one of the finest ever performances, as the closing sequence of The Kids Are Alright film shot on 25 May 1978 at Shepperton Film Studios in what was to be Keith Moon's last ever performance with The Who.
