caw49sf 0 Posted October 19, 2016 My Bell and D Hopkins for his Zeke and his C Michael? Would you make/accept this trade?
Jcleve68 8 Posted October 19, 2016 No, with Big Ben down 4-6 weeks the Steelers offense will have to lean on Bell. Hopkins has some favorable matchups coming up (Lions, Jags, Raiders, Chargers, Packers, Colts). And when Rawls comes back I'm sure he'll cut into Michael's touches. weepaws 2,480 Posted October 19, 2016 I would also. I do agree that if Rawls comes back he will take some work for Cmike . But I don't see this season really improving for Hopkins , he just doesn't have the Qb to make him the player he has been. Plus vs some of them weaker teams Fuller will also be a factor. And biggest bonus your getting fantasy football number one Rb.

Bell is close, and may get more work than before the injury to Rothlisberger, but teams should stack the box to force the backup QB to throw the ball more. in the end, even if they run a higher percentage of run plays, the offense as a whole will be less effective. This means less TD's and less overall yardage for the offense as a whole. So even if Bells cut of the pie gets bigger, the pie itself is smaller. I'm not sure it's a net gain for you if you hang onto him.
