rwockenf 0 Posted August 17, 2017 12 Team Keeper Auction League Starts 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 2 Flex (RB/WR/TE). 1 pt for every 20 Yards passing, -2 for INTs, 4 pt TDs for QB, 6 pts for all others. 1 pt PPR. Keeper doesn't cost any picks. Must pay $5 over what you bought player for last year and total comes out of budget ($225...we have IDPs). Here are my terrible choices and what I paid LAST YEAR: Eli Manning - 8 Andy Dalton - 4 Doug Martin - 35 Frank Gore - 12 Brandin Cooks - 38 Jarvis Landry - 22 Allen Robinson - 6 Kelvin Benjamin - 35 Delanie Walker - 18 I don't HAVE to keep anyone. TBayXXXVII 2,487 Posted August 17, 2017 How many players do you expect will be and can be kept? That's fairly important. If the talent pool is limited, you're better off keeping guys like Cooks and Landry, but if it isn't, I'd rather have the cash and I wouldn't keep anyone. TBayXXXVII 2,487 Posted August 17, 2017 I'm not familiar with auction drafts, full disclosure. Of the players you listed, I think ARob represents some value. <5% of your wallet, I think he bounces back this year. He screwed me, too, last season. But not as bad as Kelvin did. Since this is keeper themed post, my first - specifically signed up to ask this question & welcome thoughts: Landscape: 12 team, .5 PPR; 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR 2 keeper league, 1 Flex; 3 divisions of 4 teams. Division winners make playoffs, 3 others w/best records make playoffs. Other three Owners in my division not that strong managers. Keepers cost +2 draft picks from last season draft position. Definitely keeping Jay Ajayi for 9.09 pick; struggling with these options looking at Draft Buddy, having entered all keepers, updated Projections & Rankings: Option 1: Keep Melvin Gordon for 2.04 pick Locking in (2) RBs, not much value in keeper selection Option 2: Keep Jameis Winston for 13.09 pick Seems to be the best value according to Draft Buddy Option 3: Keep Darren McFadden for 14.04 pick Then, try to scoop Ezekiel Elliott with 2.04 pick; Risky but EZE beast when playoffs come; Won't make it past 2.12 selection due to keeper attractiveness next year. Option 4: Keep Kelvin Benjamin for 11.09 pick Kept KB last year at 13.04 pick, good value but wasn’t what I expected circa 2014 performance Keepers heading into draft are: David Johnson , Odell Beckham, Mike Evans, Jordy Nelson, Freeman, Ajayi, Michael Thomas, Jordan Howard, Brady, Pryor, Adams, Crowell, Hill, Ryan, Woodhead, Ware, Mariota, Gillesee, Proisse, RKelly, Hunter Henry & Rishard Matthews. Thanks in advance for your response. You should make your own thread, not hijack an existing one.
rwockenf 0 Posted August 17, 2017 I failed to mention I can only keep 1. That's my bad. I'm 50/50 right now on keeping anyone. ARob at $11 isn't bad, I suppose...
