I'm scrolling through to try and find SOMEthing

(Nada Except Walking Dead reruns)

and Viola - MTV pre-show for awards.

 

I get it, they're not marketing to my demo. I GET it.

I just have one question:

 

Why do we have Essence awards still?

I mean, if we're not supposed to have gender-specific awards,

shouldn't we certainly NOT have race-specific award shows?

This crap is on about six different channels.

You seem to scroll around the channels quite a bit. I know almost nobody who does that anymore.

 

Everything is DVR, Kodi, Netflix etc.

 

Do you have any of those or do you just enjoy scrolling through the channels? I have to do it when I stay in hotels and I will say, it kind of forces you to watch things you may otherwise never see...in a good way.
