Should I trade for David Johnson (post injury)

I'm in a 2 player keeper league. The owner that has D.Johnson is light on rb's now. David Johnson can be kept for an 8th rounder next season.

 

I have Melvin Gordon, Fournette, J.Howard (kept for a 10th rder), D.Henry as rb's.

 

 

My question is this: With Cohen's emergence does it make sense for me to offer Jordan Howard straight up for DJ? He could be used in the playoffs if healthy but I really just want him for future keeper potential.

Keep league I would without hesitation do that.

sure but teh real question is what will he accept in return?

 

Gordon and Fournette is too much

Gordon & howard ? pretty much means you are giving up this season for next so why bother?

Derrick Henry is relatively useless so i cant imagine he will even consider him.

 

If you give up Melvin or fournette - he is the winner.

I wouldn't do it or I would hold off on it till later in the season. I would try giving up worse players first and see what he says

The only reason I drafted Henry is because of the keeper value. If Murray is gone next year or declines significantly, I have a top 10 rb next season at a round 9 value so there definitely is value to be had with him.
