GoonCrew 2 Posted November 4, 2021 My current QB's are Hurts and Herbert. They have both been decent. I am 4-4 right now. The current Mahomes owner is is in rough shape at the skill positions (top WR is Corey Davis and top RB is James Robinson). Thinking about offering Hurts or Herbert along with one of my RB2's (Carter, Jacobs or Gibson) and maybe throw in a WR 3 like Jerry Jeudy (He is a Denver homer). What is everyone's thoughts on Mahomes ROW? Right now is good buy low. Am I giving up too much? The difference between Hurts and Mahomes is minimal right now. weepaws 2,460 Posted November 4, 2021 If that owner made the mistake of drafting Mahomes in top three rounds I doubt they’ll take the offer, they will see it has not enough. Imo.
show me the murray 49 Posted November 4, 2021 Giving up way too much.
GoonCrew 2 Posted November 4, 2021 First two answers are complete opposite opinions. Hopefully I can get a couple more to break the tie. The Mahomes owner definitely drafted him in the top 3 rounds. His backup is Matty Ice.
weepaws 2,460 Posted November 4, 2021 I simply think the other owner would want more , and i wouldn’t do it.
show me the murray 49 Posted November 5, 2021 I agree the other owner will want more after drafting Mahomes that high. But I don't like what you're giving up either. I'm not giving up a starting RB and a high-upside guy like Jeudy to upgrade Herbert or Hurts to Mahomes. You have two serviceable QBs who have also shown they can have huge games. And something is up with that KC offense this year. Even though Mahomes is awesome I'm just not convinced he's suddenly going to become the difference maker you think he is. He'll be very good still, but is he going to be 5-10 points a week better than what you already have? I doubt it.
