Sell vs. Hold: (Hurts/Lamb)

Recommended Posts

12-team, full PPR.  6-3; good for 2nd place (tied). The best team is 7-2.

5 reg. season games remain b/4 playoffs. 1 more win *might* sneak me into our (6-team) playoffs…8 wins definitely seals it. Remaining schedule is tough…4 of 5 games vs. best-record teams.

I drafted Hurts; he is just lovely. Lost BHall, Mike Williams (*returning), Bateman, & Doubs.  Drafted DHop too.  Pulled a ‘necessary’ trade (parting w/Kamara) & now have Hurts, Barkley, Pollard,  ABrown, & DHop as my best. Mike Williams too, when he returns.

Rest of my team are middling…Wandale, Hubbard, CWatson, etc. (we dont play a TE).

—> ** Via waivers, I acquired JFields (week of his blow up). Naturally, there is plenty of ‘league winner’ talk out there about him. This hype may or may not end if he has a normal or below ff output.

Question is LESS about what to demand for Fields (or Hurts) via trade. Either player would obviously demand a high value return(s).

Question is more about: do i get rid of either guy to begin with?  My team is at least a top 5 unit…maybe top 3, but (again, obviously) not a world beater. Then again, this is a tight league…25+ years for some of us…no team has got it over all the others.

Maybe go at the JChase owner, for example?…

Thoughts?

Tx ya’ll. I have no intention to sell Hurts….man alive…it now looks like JAllen is banged up.  Just kinda thinking 1) if Hurts was injured that a healthy Fields might result in no fall off of my chances to win a championship, OR 2) that trading Fields might result in a nice piece for a playoff run to help win said championship.

Got a bit over 1 week to decide. Our trade deadline is 11/18.

Appreciate the replies.
