But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people

Didn’t ask you about baptism, that’s doesn’t save you.  I asked you if you stand with Jesus?  Catholic get baptized, doesn’t save you.

So do you stand with Jesus?  It’s a very easy question, folks in South Carolina should have no problem understanding the question, how about you?

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept.

For since by man came Death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

For as in Adam all Die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

But every man in his own order, Christ the first fruits, afterwards they that are Christ’s at His Coming.

Then come the end, when He shall have delivered up the Kingdom to God, even the Father, when He shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

1 Corinthians 15:20-24.

You do you belong too?  If you belong to Christ your Lord and Savior your Soul lives in the upper room, Heaven.

If you belong to satan, it’s the lower room Hell Fire.

But I have great news, you get to decide.  Amen.

Therefore, having been justified by Faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by Faith Into this Grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the Glory of God. And not only that, but we also Glory that Tribulation produces perseverance, and perseverance character, and character Hope.

Now Hope does not disappoint, because the Love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Romans 5:1-6.  Christ died for the ungodly, for the poor, the lost, the wicked, that’s me, I’m not like most, who are perfect in all their own ways.  I need a Savior.  Than you Jesus.  Amen.

Baptism is a requirement to be saved.

Mark 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

1When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus’ body. 2Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb 3and they asked each other, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?”

4But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. 5As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.

6“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. 7But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.’ ”

8Trembling and bewildered, the women went out and fled from the tomb. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid. a

[The earliest manuscripts and some other ancient witnesses do not have verses 9–20.]

9When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had driven seven demons. 10She went and told those who had been with him and who were mourning and weeping. 11When they heard that Jesus was alive and that she had seen him, they did not believe it.

12Afterward Jesus appeared in a different form to two of them while they were walking in the country. 13These returned and reported it to the rest; but they did not believe them either.

14Later Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen.

15He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 16Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

19After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God. 20Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.

Have you been baptized?

Mark 16:16 says it all right, whoever does not believe will be condemned, so Works which is what baptized is, cannot alone save you, it’s Faith and the acceptance of Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior.

Jesus said whoever Believes and is Baptized will be Saved.  And then Jesus said.  But whoever does not Believe will be condemned.  Not the combo of Faith and being baptized.

Ephesians. 2:8-9.  For By Grace are You Saved Through Faith, And that Not of Yourselves, It Is the Gift of God, Not of Works, lest Any Man should Boast.

I know people that have been baptized, just like the other poster I was talking to , but being baptized of it’s self cannot save you.

We are only saved through the Blood of Jesus, and Him Alone.

John 14:6.  Jesus said.  I am the Way, And the Truth, And the Life.  No One Comes to the Father expect through Me, not one thing about Works, Baptized.

Read John 3:16.  It’s all about Jesus and through Him only.

Yes I am baptized, I was baptized in the Lake right here at South Lake Tahoe.   But I first accepted Jesus Christ as My Lord And Savior.  Baptized by itself cannot save anyone.  Only Jesus.

Thanks, you did a great job, very nice rightup.

And Peter said,  Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.  Acts 2:38.  The Works of baptism cannot save you alone, it’s repentance of sin, and the acceptance of Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior.  Amen.

1 Peter 3:21.  Baptism, Which corresponds to this, Now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an Appeal to God for a good conscience, Through the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Baptism is saying I want to be made clean.  But it’s through the Blood of Jesus we are saved.

Many will in up in Hell that have been baptized, but they never repeated from their sins, they died in sin, and never accepted Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior.
