That Jalen Carter is really having a heck of an off season

Dude can't even be ready for his pro day.

So, in summary, he had open questions by NFL scouts about his work ethic and taking plays off during games in college, as well as questions whether he likes playing football outside playing in games. He gets into legal troubles and bails on a teammate who was killed in a crash while racing against him, and he can't do the combine. And now he can't finish his pro day, in front of many team's scouts, because of cramping.

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — Stetson Bennett says he’d give himself a lukewarm grade for his workout of about 55 passes for NFL scouts, general managers and coaches at Georgia’s pro day. Jalen Carter didn’t stick around to comment on his performance or anything else. Carter apparently had cramps after position drills and did not participate in other tests. Bennett and Carter helped lead Georgia to back-to-back national championships but each has had to deal with off-field legal problems. Carter left the indoor practice facility and did not talk with reporters.

I heard he had gained 9 lbs since the combine too.

His draft stock is plummeting if he can't fix something

Yeah. The guy gets arrested, can't compete at the combine, and then goes in out of shape to his scheduled pro day? Can't finish drills because he's overweight and was wheezing on indivifual drills? How old is he? And he doesn't have any time to get in shape? Or he simply doesn't care? I'm going with the latter.
