Anyone ever have to get a TWIC card?

I never heard of it but my current client requires I have one before they give me access to their buildings in a few different states and DC offices that I will need to be at. Strange as I've never had to have one of these for other clients in the same industry in multiple other states. Pretty easy to get. Driver's License and Birth Certificate must match name, answer 'no' to 3 pages of crimes they ask if you committed or not, and they take all your fingerprints and you pay them $125 for the card that comes in ~60 days after they dig into your past. 

We should require illegals to have these just to get into our country.

 

What does a TWIC card give you access to?

 

A TWIC is a Transportation Worker Identity Card. This card is issued by the United States Transportation Security Administration and the United States Coast Guard. Individuals must have a TWIC to gain access to secure maritime facilities. These often include ships, ferries, dockside warehouses and port customs offices.Mar 10, 2023

Getting the Real ID was a serious pain in the ass as well.

It shows on your driver's license. I think you need it to fly commercial starting like May of 2025 or something. They keep pushing the date out. The whole Chinese flu don't you know...
