FrancieFootball 96 Posted June 26, 2023 My league this year is going to keeper system. That's new for me. PPR league. 10 teams. I have: Henry, Chubb, Stevenson, Dobbins, Herbert and Breece Hall. I also have the No. 1 pick. Obviously a lot of time between now and draft day, but I'm doing my homework early.

I suppose an obvious choice would be Henry, but he's entering the year at an age that running backs rapidly decline.
weepaws 3,173 Posted June 29, 2023 I agree with you about Henry, but I would keep him over Herbert, I’m not so sure that the bears see Herbert as their true rb1. They did draft R Johnson, and brought in Foreman, both can be a challenge to Herbert. You’re deep at rb so you have the room to keep Henry for at least this next season. Thank you, and I meant Justin Herbert. Someone said I should keep him, and I'm like, um, I don't thinks so. I'm loaded at RB because I already had a deep RB stable, and then team owners desperate to pick up active RBs and dropping players such as Hall to make room allowed me to pick up guys who might be top picks this year. Chubb and Lamb intrigue me as well.
DocNiner 70 Posted July 2, 2023 So,.Henry, Chubb and even Breece Hall are considerations as keepers. How many players are you allowed to keep? Since it's 10 teams I would even consider keeping Justion Herbert. He's.a.lock as a top 10 QB. If you keep him and you have the first pick then I think drafting RB BIJAN ROBISON is certainly worth considering. There again I can say definitively who to keep since I don't know how many players you're allowed to keep.

CeeDee Lamb is tempting, because he's at that potential breakout point for a wide receiver. I'm tempted not to go with Henry because he's at that point that running backs go into decline. I'm tempted to put Chubb over him. Of course, it depends on what the other team owners keep and what happends during all this time leading up to opening day. weepaws 3,173 Posted July 10, 2023 That one keeper should be the Chubb.

My roster: QB Hebert RB Chubb Henry Stevenson Elliott Hall Pierce Williamson WR Lamb London Marquise Brown Valdes-Scantling Obviously it depends on what the others in this 10-team league decide to keep. I had a lot of trouble with receivers last season. So depending on what's available, I'm thinking maybe keep Lamb and then pick a running back, which might very well be Chubb. Then go WR-RB or QB at the end of the second round, depending on what's available. I've won leagues in the past with the RB-heavy strategy, but last season that didn't work out so well.
