No offense Dink, but, there is this whole fairy tale thing where there are fairies, and dwarfs that are themselves mystical creatures that live in a fantasy world.  There isn't any reason to compare it to Earth creatures, United States, 2023.  Now you got the mystical dwarfs replaced with 2023 earth fairies and cost at least six 2023 earth midgets a pretty good paying gig.  Good job.

Sometimes, a company with a copyright on an IP may license it out to another company and sometimes a provision is added that they must create works with that IP every X years lest the license terminate.  Sony has such a license with Spiderman and Xmen with Marvel, which is why they kept pumping out new films periodically.
