I think you can, but the path toward some mention of Trump will be slow or fast depending on the level of indoctrination.  

I might suggest that they would first start with som ad hominem at you. And if you are able to stay firm and fast to facts and avoid attempts to escalate on the part of the liberal, then you likely will eventually be led down the road to "Trump" or "maga".  Its really all they have.  Once suitably challenged on their indefensible positions, it always comes back to labelling you.
