Just finished my first Best Ball draft IDK

Recommended Posts

DraftKings, won a $10 ticket to the BB millionaire thing. First time I've ever done a Best Ball and honestly not entirely sure how the thing works. You just draft and leave your team alone?? Anyway, 12 teams, drafted 3rd, and most weren't in the draft room so the 4-5 of us who were got to pivot easily. How'd I do?

QB: Herbert, Goff

RB: A Jones, Mixon, Gibson, CEH, Cordarelle, D Harris, Gainwell

WR: Chase, Olave, Evans, Skyy, Slayton, Parker, Burks, V Jefferson

TE: Goedert, Higbee, Gesicki

In a best ball the strategy is a bit different.

players with low floors and high ceilings are valued a bit more because its best ball.   at WR only your best 2 or 3 at the position (depending on how many you start at that position) will count.  so once your starters are picked, you are looking for high upside players who you hope will occasionally explode for big numbers.

the guy who gets 50 yards a game is a nice backup in most formats but the guy who gets 20 yards on half his games and 90 yards on the other half is by far more desireable in this format even though his stats over the year wont be as good.
