The Lakers told all of their players that hey we arent even going to try to find one. We arent that serious about winning here. We are taking a kid that has no upside at all other than keeping his dad around for 1 year. Hilarious. We need Lebron so we can fight for that Lebron seed. (10th) Imagine if Rodgers had a 20 year old kid and pulled that with the Jets? Imagine the media on that one. Unfortunately the NBA is not the NFL. It’s a lot of “family” stuff. Why is Giannis brother in the league? Rick Brunson works for the knicks, etc. nba teams bend over backwards to make their star players happy. That’s nothing really new. To tell the rest of their players what you just laid out above versus telling them LeBron wants out… now personally I’d let Lebron go but no NBA franchise would want to do that. As for the pick 55, second round stuff... I don't disagree with you in the sense that If I'm a GM, there has to be a prospect with more upside worth taking. Is it worth Lebron possibly leaving, even at this stage in his career, is what you have to ask. For the Lakers? I let him leave. Certain other franchises I can see the extreme value in Lebron, which is why I was more disgusted that no team had the balls to pick his kid and ruin his plan. I'm just pulling the Pacers randomly... you mean to tell me the Pacers wouldn't be a title contender with Lebron? Draft his kid at 50 and offer the Lakers a trade either FOR Lebron or rake them over the coals for Bronny. That's what annoyed me the most. That no team had the balls to throw a wrench into things because the players run the league

The Sixers aren’t mediocre because of him, the supporting cast has been mostly garbage. They have $60m in cap space next year. Philly needs a 3rd star and a better bench. They should think about spending a 1st on a legit center to back Joel up too. Feel differently now? The window is closing for them to get a haul for Embid. Embiid was a Top 5-ish player when I posted this a year ago. I haven’t watched a single Sixer game this year. Is there some reason you quote me 20x a day? It’s a little weird.
