BeenHereBefore 1,545 Posted November 3, 2023 The date is November 3, 1977, and it's a Thursday. Anyone born today will have the star sign Scorpio. Halloween has just come and passed. It's November, so the evenings are getting darker and the days are getting colder. In America, the song "You Light Up My Life" by Debby Boone is at the top of the singles charts, while "Yes Sir I Can Boogie" by Baccara is the number-one song in the UK. Jimmy Carter is the President of the United States, and the movie Oh, God! is at the top of the box office. James Callaghan is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. On television, people are watching popular shows such as "Happy Days", "Fawlty Towers", "What's Happening!!", and "Logan's Run". In fashion, clothes have become baggier and pants have become less flared. Sports clothing and the "disco look" are both popular at the moment. Women are wearing sundresses, strapless tops with t-shirts, shoulder pads, cardigans, knee-length skirts and daisy dukes. Meanwhile, men are wearing tracksuits, flare jeans, low-top sneakers and untucked collared shirts. Because it's 1977, the music charts are being dominated by the likes of The Eagles, Donna Summer, Wings, Boney M, Baccara, Stevie Wonder, Barbra Streisand and Debby Boone. If you were to travel back to this day, notable figures such as Charlie Chaplin and Keith Moon would be still alive. People are playing video games such as "Tank", "Pursuit", "Gun Fight", and "Breakout". Children and teenagers are watching television shows such as "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood", "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!", "Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids", and "Dynomutt, Dog Wonder". Children are playing with toys such as Battleship (game), Stretch Armstrong, Cher dolls, and the Atari 2600.

It was a 2D poorly animated lemonade stand and the entire game was they tell you the temperature and you figure out what the optimal price to sell lemonade at. It was super cool; I could control/interact with something on a tv screen and earn fake money.
