Haven’t had any experience with it personally but I’ve heard of it and one of my old classmates works in cardio now so I’m sure she’s on the up & up with it. From what I know it’s a safe, effective way to treat afib without meds especially if you have a history or at risk of stroke. Quick google search pulled up a few risks associated with it such as air embolisms and infection but as with most device implants or surgical procedures these are common risks that are mitigated with proper medical technique. I’d consult your own doctor about it cause it might not be a good choice for you. I wouldn’t know since I haven’t treated you. My advice is to discuss it with your pcm at your next checkup :dunno:
