Going out on a limb and say that Hamlin didn't win because I don't think he actually came back yet.  He played 17 snaps all year.  :dunno:

My guess is that if he plays all year next year, that's the year he wins the award, because you can claim that he actually came back.

Exactly. He was barely in the league before he died 🪦

You should probably be a relevant player to win this award.
