And when that fails, well, you start playing with the government structure and systems, so as to ensure you can take out your political opponents more easily through the courts etc.... All good and fine, but later, you have cocked the weapon, and left it on the table....so it can then be used against you....of course they do not see it ...because they are blinding by rage to take down their opponents..... What the Democrats have allowed, because it was politically useful to do so......would be equivalent to the right allowing white supremacists to have a voice in politics, and to have some appeasements....
