seafoam1 3,025 Posted November 16, 2024 I hate these way mismatched games (rarely bet them) but Penn St. is #4 and is only playing garbage for the remaining season. They only beat 1 ranked team and lost 1 game to OSU who is #2 right now. I'll give it a shot. They need to maul their last 3 opponents on the national stage to keep that ranking. I got it right before it changed to -28.5 and still took that to double down. They are now up 14-0. But like I said, I hate betting these massive spread games. They all depend on what the coach wants and WTF knows that other than the coach? I have no doubt they can slaughter Purdue but again.... the freaking odds makers know a lot too. Penn State beat up on all the weak teams last season and covered every week other than when they hit a wall with Mich and Ohio State. They didn't beat up on the weak teams this season and hardly covered until last week. They have no choice now since losing to OS like you said and have to put up points to move up the ranks. jonmx 2,429 Posted November 17, 2024 Keeping their ranking means very little as they have very little chance to get one of the top 4 seeds. Only conference champs get a first round bye so Indiana, OSU, or Oregon would all have to fall. Penn State will likily be the 5th or 6th seed if they win out.
