Dynasty Alert: Tet McMillan isn't going to be that good

I was curious what the feedback on Tet was during mini camp.

Not promising.

He got the ole, "he's a hard worker" before the coach acknowledged he can't separate.

Goes back to my perspective on Coach speak in minicamps where any criticism of a player should perk up your ears since this is the time of year everyone is amazing according to reports.

I talked about it last year with reports on Pearsall just so you know I'm not just making up this view now to fit my narrative.

The twitter algos have me.  Jimmy Horn getting hyped.  And the 1940s quality video almost has me convinced he's the next tyreek.

Indeed.  Small speedy guys have a big advantage in flag football camp.  Pads are when it counts.  I'm just passing along the massive hype.

I mean tet is still going to be a JAG.  Just not because he got outshone by a sixth round slot guy.

Tet did check the box though.  If you're overrated, you should also be overrated in shorts.

Dominate what? Drills at half speed with no contact? Who cares? Rookie mini-camp is a glorified Orientation. Coaches are just looking for what they can tell players to work on before training camp. I have no idea if Tet will be good or not. I don't think landing with Carolina helps his cause. I am sure that whether he 'dominated' or sucked at rookie mini-camp will not have any bearing on his future prospects...
