Shriners hospital transport :(

Would like to see the maintenance records of this plane.  Was watching a show a few years ago talking about how dangerous these med-vac flights are in planes and choppers due to the lack of oversight and maintenance of the aircraft.

I'd love a link to the show you're referencing.  Do you have a clue about the maintenance requirements mandated by law and the FAA?

It was a couple years ago, and I Have no idea how to find it or what the name of it was.  It was on a cable channel investigating plane crashes.

Well, absent your link to educate myself on their take, let me introduce you to FAR 94.109:

https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-14/chapter-I/subchapter-F/part-91/subpart-E/section-91.409

The tldr on this regulation is that EVERY plane gets inspected annually.  An annual inspection takes a few days to a week depending on the plane and is basically a tear down of the plane looking for any issues.   Here's a list of the things they check during an annual inspection:

https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-14/chapter-I/subchapter-C/part-43/appendix-Appendix D to Part 43

In addition, planes used for hire are required to have an inspection every 100 hours of use.  A 100 hr inspection is basically the same as the annual.

I own a 1975 Cessna.  You think I'd fly a 50 year old plane if I had any concerns about maintenance or it's airworthiness?

Edit to note that THIS particular plane appears to be registered in Mexico and is probably not subject to the regulations noted above.  However, I was responding to the comment that medivac planes in general are unsafe.  If they're subject to U.S. regulations they should be as safe as any other plane due to the regulations above.

That's tragic, Mom, daughter, doctor and paramedic along with the pilot and co-pilot, all them who died trying to help the daughter live a better life. The world needs more people like them, not less. RIP  :(

I rarely lower myself to reply to garbage posts, but you are a vile disgusting person.

:dunno:

Because they were headed to Mexico. What did you think I meant, jeesh you're sad.
