Hate it when I have to watch NFL games with the TV muted. Luckily the Chiefs sucked the most that night (which is amazing when you think about it) so totally made up for boring Tom! I was referring to self-styled "analysts" that write articles and publish drivel about the NFL. Although some years ago, he used to break news on a regular basis on his old blog, Florio seems to lead the charge of the idiot brigade now. Did you know that the Chiefs refused to let Brady into their pre-Superbowl practice (as is custom for play by play guys prior to their upcoming broadcast) due to the fact that he is now part owner of division rival Raiders? I actually thought he was ok. hes knowledgeable about the sport in a way nobody else is. hes got his quirks but so does everyone. Lots of commentators and play by play guys start their first year sounding like this and they get better as they go. He has conditioned himself to win, regardless of opponent, regardless of obstacles. How do you "win" as a broadcaster? He was severely criticized in the preseason debut he did, which was a disaster, and used that as motivation to go study professional announcers and get better. Once he overcomes the critics, he has "won" at this, but he will get bored quickly. I doubt he is still in this role at the end of his contract with Fox.
