Adam Thielen CAR or Khalil Shakir BUF

There is a story on FFtoday.com regarding Thielen might have an opportunity to go to Minn. What is the percent chance of that happening? and was wondering how does this affect Thielen's year if it were to happen. Then someone in my league just dropped Shakir. 

So Should I drop Thielen for Shakir, seems like a no brainer but with a maybe move to Minn. Not so sure.

Personally I don't think that trade is going to happen.

I would say realistic, but not certain. 

So one of the "established" sports sites in the Twin Cities (SKOR North), speculated earlier today. That the two trades made this week, were done in order to bring in another WR due to Addison suspension and season ending injury to Rondale Moore. They could include picks to get some one. Also clear up cap dollars to afford a decent wr.

Now Moore was expected to be a WR and a returner. So the Vikes may be in need of both a WR and a returner.

Speculation on Theilen back in MN is based upon a couple of thoughts. 
1. as an older vet, is expected won't rock the boat if his placement on the depth chart goes from #2 down to #3 with Addison returning.
2. was back in MN this summer, where he did some catch time with JJ McCarthy. 
However Theilen is not a returner, so that need still needs resolution.

All of this is dependent upon the right trade value negotiated with Carolina. Rumor they are ask of draft picks too high. 

Talking heads thought a 5th round pick made sense.

Viking traded Howell to Eagles. Eagles and Vikes swapped picked next year. Vikes get a 5th, Eagles get a 6th. Vikes also get a 7th in 2027.
Vikings trade Phillips to Jets. Eagels and Vikes traded 2027 picks. Vikes get their 6th and give the 7th. Also the Vikes a 6th round pick in the 2026 draft.

So Vikes have a 5th that could be dealt.

even with Thielen in Minny, you still have JJ, Hockenson, Addison starting week 4 and Jones out of the backfield. We have no idea how many mouths McCarthy is capable of feeding. But we know Shakir has josh allens trust.
