petetrav 0 Posted Wednesday at 04:34 PM No one has picked up Chris Godwin in my league yet, and I want to grab him, but the only viable drops I have are Tuten or Golden. Playing time/targets is an issue for Tuten and Golden currently, but both have room for their roles to expand. I think Godwin is going to come back strong, especially with Evans out for a while, but when Evans comes back, that will also present a targets logjam for Godwin, with Evans and Egbuka. Do I hang on for the potential of Tuten or Golden, or grab Godwin for possible production over the next 2-4 weeks before Evans comes back, with maybe more to follow? Showboat 270 Posted Wednesday at 04:54 PM Assuming this is a redraft league, I'd drop Golden for Godwin. Golden has had plenty of opportunities and hasn't really emerged and things will get murkier if Watson comes back.
CajunBadger 10 Posted Wednesday at 08:52 PM Godwin may be harder to start once Evans comes back, but I'd go with him over Golden. And I'd think he'll still have fantasy relevance even after Evans returns (and will Evans remain healthy?). I've been hoping I'd see signs of Golden being considered the true go to WR, but still haven't. Could happen but seems like it'll be later in the season if it does occur. Tuten is a good one to hold...
